Highlights of the year

Selected highlights:

• Marie-Paule Cani was nominated chevalier de l'ordre national du mérite by the French government in October 2009, to acknowledge her carrier.

• Maxime Tournier and co-authors received the third best paper award at the Eurographics conference for their work on motion compression using principle geodesics analysis [13] .

• Adeline Pihuit and co-authors received the best paper award at the AFIG conference for their work on implicit reconstruction of 3D surfaces from 2D slices [29] .
