Low-Mach number flow solvers

We have programmed different finite-element methods for the solution of the stationary and time-dependent Navier-Stokes equations for incompressible flows: conforming, non-conforming, stabilized, and discontinuous finite element methods (see Section 6.3 ) on triangular, quadrilateral, tetrahedral and hexahedral meshes. The aim is to have a flexible code which could easily switch between the different discretizations, in order to provide a toolbox for rapid testing of new ideas. At the same time, these codes serve as a basis for the more advanced application as polymer flows, see Section 4.2 , and reacting flow problems as described in Section 3.3 .
