W. Perruquetti was invited in April 2008 by the French embassy in Japan to prepare the First France-Japan Research Workshop on Human-Robot Interaction (see http://www.lirmm.fr/FJWHRI08/Home.html). During this first stay he visited, in a week, more than 20 robotics laboratories in Japan in order to prepare the workshop. Then, in October, he was invited to give a talk on the ALIEN techniques at the First France-Japan Research Workshop in Sendai, Japan. The outcome of this meeting is the reinforcement of some cooperation (especially with Keio University), and new contacts were established with Prof. Nakamura and the JRL.
