Highlights

The project of installing a magnetoencephalography machine (MEG) in La Timone, Marseille, has been successfully completed after some six years of efforts between the “Laboratoire de Neurophysiologie et de Neuropsychologie, Service de Neurophysiologie Clinique”, directed by Professor Patrick Chauvel, and the Odyssée project team. This will reinforce the collaboration between INRIA, INSERM and CNRS and contribute greatly to the creation of a pole of excellence in theoretical and clinical neuroscience in the PACA region. The equipment has been paid for by a combination of sponsors including CNRS, INRIA, INSERM, the local collectivities Conseil Général 13, Conseil Général 06, Conseil Régional PACA, Marseille Provence Métropole, the Ministry of enseignement supérieur et de la recherche and the AP-HM.
