GVTR (GeoVisualisation en Temps Réel)
GRAVIT is a Rhône-Alpes region consortium aiming at maturating research results in order to help their industrialization, typically by supporting the development of platforms. EVASION participates to the GRAVIT project GVTR (GeoVisualisation en Temps Réel) with ARTIS and REVE INRIA project-teams. The goal is to obtain a real-time engine in which it is easy to plug new research results. The duration was 1 year (October 2006 to Septembre 2007), extended to August 2008. An engineer, Cédric Manzoni, started with the plateform developed for the NatSim project (combining dedicated models for nature simulation, see Section 8.2.2 ), which he is extending to open the API to ease the integration of new modules.
